77, of Phoenix passed away on 03/25/2017. Walter was born August 26, 1939 in Alameda, CA and grew up in Sacramento, CA. Walter is preceded in death by his loving wife Lydia, sons George and Kevin and parents Edwin and Louise. Walter is survived by his sisters Nancy and Jane, his children Debbie, Carla, Eddie, Lisa, Sondra, Lia, Stacey & Liana as well as his many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Walter was a union Ironworker in California and Arizona for over forty years as well as a boxing coach for over forty years, most recently with Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Boxing Team. Walter was the Registration Chairman for USA Boxing Arizona as well as being an avid animal lover. Walter was loved by many and will be deeply missed forever. Services will be held on April 5, 2017 at 11AM at Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home at 9155 W.
