

Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on January 25, 1929, he was the son of the late Charles and Edith (Gloss) Hoff. He attended local schools and was a veteran of the US Army. He lived most of his life in Kenosha, Wisconsin and his later years in Sun City, Arizona.
On September 10, 1950, in Waukegan, IL, he was united in marriage to Clarice “Toni” Houston. They were blessed with 3 children and almost 67 years of marriage.
He was employed for many years by Chrysler until his retirement. He also worked part time for Southport Supply and Strang Siding as a salesman. Selling was a passion of his because he was a social and extremely likeable person.
Bill loved sports especially the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago White Sox. Bill enjoyed golfing and he played City League softball in Kenosha for many years. Bill and Toni traveled and had many trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, where he was at home on the black jack table with a cigar. They enjoyed immensely their Alaskan, Hawaiian and Caribbean Cruises.
Bill is survived by his wife Clarice “Toni”, daughter Susan (Gary) Hopper, son Dennis (Pete) Hoff and son Douglas (Samantha) Hoff, grandchildren, Tammie (Tim) Borop, Tiffany (Luke) Welling and Travis (Carmela) Hopper , Douglas, Ashley, Nicole and Hailey Hoff and five great grandchildren. Bill was a loving father, grandfather, husband and friend to all.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his bothers Alan, Arthur and Charles and his sister Leona.
The family will be holding a memorial service in the future.
