Aldean Patricia "Pat" O'Connor

Aldean Patricia "Pat" O'Connor, 78, of Beachwood, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Bey Lea Village. Born in Camden, she was a devoted Navy wife, living in Minnesota, Virginia and Florida before moving to Beachwood in 1971. Pat was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Toms River and also sang in the choir. She loved music, dancing and spending time with her cherished family. Later in life she was a proud graduate of Ocean County College.She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Evelyn Hellings and her brother Richard "Doc" Hellings. Surviving is her devoted husband Robert J. O'Connor; four sons Robert O'Connor and his wife Cheryl, Kevin O'Connor and his companion Lisa, Jerrad O'Connor and Adam O'Connor and his wife Michelle; her daughter Victoria O'Connor; five sisters Carol White, Arlene Carbonetti and her husband Gene, Linda Gaffney, Sherry McGonigle and her husband Michael and Brenda Hellings; and 12 grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 129 Chestnut St., Toms River. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
