

Alyea "Al" H. Taylor, 83, of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Lakewood, he was a lifelong resident of Ocean County, spending 12 years in West Virginia. Al was a dedicated son, husband, father, friend, hunter, fisherman, carpenter, gardener, and an all around handy man. He proudly served in the National Guard as a corporal from 1948 to 1952.
He was predeceased by his son Tommy in 1995. Surviving are his three daughters, Marianne (Richard) Johnson of Charlottesville, VA, Sue (Gary) Nodes of Toms River and Barbara (John) Ziobro of Modena, NY; and his grandchildren Heather Wydock, Michael Wydock, Amber Nodes, Kyle Nodes, Johnny Ziobro and Jack Ziobro.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Committal services will be held privately at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY, 10018 in Al's memory.
