

Anna J. Wilbert, 85, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 4, 2012, with her family by her side. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and lived there before moving to Toms River, where she resided for the past 68 years. Mrs. Wilbert was a Home Health Aide for 30 years with the Visiting Homemakers Service of Ocean County before retiring in 1996. She loved her work and the people she cared for and tried to make a positive difference in their lives.
Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph Wilbert in 1988, and her sister, Doris Papola. She is survived by her son, Ralph Wilbert Jr. of Lakehurst; her two daughters, Elizabeth McClanahan and her husband Donald of Bayville, and Lori PeQueen and her husband Jim of Toms River; five grandchildren, Ralph III, Bethany, Meghan, Lyndsey, and Jimmy III; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Anna, and Gavin; and her brother, Charles Batten of Toms Brook, VA. Mrs. Wilbert's family was her greatest joy and she will be dearly missed by them.
Visitation will be Monday, May 7th, from 4 to 8PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Joseph RC Church on 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River at 10:00 AM. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery will be immediately following.
