Anne H. McLain

Anne H. McLain, 83, born in Troy, New York, and resident of Toms River, passed away on Wednesday, April 18 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Beloved wife of Paul "Pete" McLain for 62 years, and loving mother to Wendy Berg, Nancy Valentino, Samuel McLain and wife Lynda, and Elizabeth McLain and husband William; and grandmother to Noelle and Lauren Valentino, Joshua and Evan Berg, and Shelby Hipple; sister to Kate Smith and husband Jerry and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents William and Helen Haase. Anne is also survived by dear friends who include Hilda Ramos and Dolly Levine.

A graduate of Emma Willard Academy and Cornell University, Anne enjoyed a long career in Personnel at Community Memorial Hospital in Toms River.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Anne's life will take place on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River.
