

Veneziano, Anthony, "Uncle Tony", age 91, formerly of 22 Camrose St., Toms River, NJ, passed away at the AristaCare Nursing Facility in Manchester Township on Sunday September 2, 2018 at 8:59PM due to complications of multiple myeloma and pneumonia.
Originally from a large Italian-American family in Bloomfield NJ, Tony served in the Navy during WWII at the US Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA.
In civilian life Tony had a long career as a machinist and worked for the Walter Kidde and Philips corporations.
He was a hard working and devoted family man who approached life with good humor and made sure he left time for fun.
He was an avid tennis player and number one NY Giants fan.
He made people smile.
He also had a serious sweet tooth and his favorite ice cream flavor was "yes".
He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Dolores, and is survived by stepchildren Martha Oliver and Robert Willette, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday, September 8th 2018 at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at AristaCare Manchester and to Serenity Hospice for the care they provided.
