native New Yorker from Washington Heights, Manhattan, found solace and beauty at the Jersey
Shore. Barbra was a graduate of Cathedral High school, with a B.A. degree in English from
Hunter College. She worked various jobs including Airline Stewardess, Advertising and retired
from the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell in Manhattan.
Barbara moved to Spring Lake in 1999 undeterred by the long commute to NYC.
She is predeceased by her parents, Harold & Theresa, brother Harold ( Buddy), twin brother
Donald and nephews James and Thomas. She leaves behind dearest nieces Eileen, Joanne,
Kathleen and Laurie and their beautiful families. Her love of dogs and animals began at a very
young age and hopes to see them along with her human loved ones. Barbara will always be
remembered for her upbeat, spunky fun personality and will be missed by all that knew her.
A burial ceremony will be held at St. Anne’s Cemetery,in Wall Township, Friday, August 30,2024
at 12:30 P.M.
