Carlos J. Cedeno II

Carlos was known for his warmth and kind heart. He always found a way to touch the lives of others, and he was a friend to many in the community.  In his youth he wrestled with All American National Wrestling Association, being recognized for his athleticism and mental toughness. He was an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoyed coaching recreational soccer in Barnegat. 

His family was his pride and joy in life, and he worked hard to keep giving them the best. Carlos’ favorite thing to do was take his kids out to ride motorbikes on the weekends. He went on to master his craft professionally as a hardscape mason, eventually starting his own thriving Paver Installation Business. Part of his legacy is left behind within the many beautiful paver patios and driveway projects in Ocean County. 

Carlos is survived by his three children, Emma Cedeno, Carlos Cedeno, and Aiden Gordon; his beloved wife, Kelsey L. Gordon; his daughter’s mother, Danelle M. Wood; his mother, Nancy L. Cedeno; and his sisters, Nancy Morris and husband Joe, Barbara Cedeno, Deborah Speight, Susan Longstreet and Tammy Cedeno; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Carlos Cedeno Sr., whom he shared a close bond with. 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Carlos' visitation on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 6pm to 7pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1329 Rt. 37 West. Toms River, NJ 08755.
