I first met Catherine working at the Manchester library. She was always helpful, she didn't bother with a computer to find the information for you. She took you right to the source in the library for your needs. Most librarians today couldn't shine her shoes. I always think of her when I'm in the library. She sure will be missed.

To Catherine's family:
I had the privilege of working with your mom at the Manchester library.  She is one of the best people I have ever known.  Catherine was so warm and kind to everyone.  She had that beautiful smile, which could completely brighten up your day! My sympathies to all of you.

She will be missed by all her had the privilege and honor of knowing her, especially us.  We couldn’t have had a better person as a neighbor & friend.  She was always cheerful & positive, looking on the bright side of things.  Lillian was adored by our family.  We shared holidays together and exchanged gifts.  She was angelic, endearing, thoughtful, genuine and kind.  We will cherish the memories we shared.  

May her memory be eternal.

Lots of fun adventures with neighborhood buddies.  Your mom was so sweet and kind with a brilliant smile for all. Cherish the wonderful memories you have with her. She raised an awesome family.

It’s a sad day, many fond memories are flooding thru my mind. Jubilant ones of my favorite cousin Lillian taking to my very first movie “The Greatest Show on Earth”. That is as clear as if it was recent, not some seven decades ago. Or the time she brought me along to pick up her first new Chevrolet, what a treat.
Always gracious, kind and loving. With countless extras like receiving a birthday card each every year with a heartfelt wishes written.
These things will live with on forever.
Our love for you Lillian will never fade.

One of my fondest memories of working @ the OCL library was working with Catherine.  She was truly a special person, so kind and thoughtful and also a lot of fun.  I admired and loved her greatly.  My sincere condolences to her family.

Lillian had lunch with bowling friends every Tuesday before bowling for many years before her knees got so bad she had to stop. I visited with Lil every several months or called to chat. She was such a nice lady and I will miss her dearly
