

Charles J. Steiner, Jr., of Toms River, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014, at Community Medical Center, surrounded by his loving wife and son. Charlie was born in East Orange, NJ. He lived in Newark until his marriage, moving to Bayville, then later to Toms River.
Charlie is a proud veteran of the Korean War. For the vast majority of his career, he was a successful sales person. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters creating and reading stories. Second to the love of his family, Charlie enjoyed his cars.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Charles J. Steiner, Sr. and Lillian Buchanan Steiner; his stepmother Grace Hoover Steiner, and his sisters Pat Whinery and Joan Bressman. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret (Molnar) Steiner, and his devoted son Charles (C.J.) and his wife Robin of Toms River; two precious grandchildren, Alexyn and Kaylee; numerous nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews; and many loving in-laws.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 24th, from 1 to 5 PM, with Military Honors at 4:30 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
