

Christopher A. Phillips, 56, passed away on Friday October 7, 2011 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ. Chris was born in Pt. Pleasant, NJ and was life-long resident of Toms River, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents G. Clyde and Henrietta Phillips and his brother Clyde Phillips.

Long-time Best Friend: Bob McTigue
Chris was employed with the Toms River Regional School’s as a plumber for 10 years. Prior to that, he worked for Atlantic Plumbing Supply, Toms River, NJ for 22 years.
He was a 1973 graduate of Toms River High School South where he played football, basketball and baseball.
Chris was a communicant of St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ.
He was an avid New York Jets and Yankees fan.
Chris was the founding member and bass player of the Chris Phillips Revival Band for 11 years. His music will be sadly missed, but not forgotten.
Family and Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A prayer service celebrating Chris’ life will be at 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. To honor Chris’ memory, his family invites everyone to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt or Jets/Yankees jersey.
