

Daniel John Duimstra, 63, of Brick, passed peacefully at home on Monday, May 24, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Easton, PA, he grew up in Belvidere, NJ before residing in Toms River, NJ; he moved to Lancaster, SC, before relocating to Brick, NJ 9 months ago.
Dan was an auditor for 33 years at Liberty Mutual, working in New Jersey and North Carolina, before retiring in 2020.
Dan loved playing golf and pickleball with his friends. In 2015, he was named the NJSIAA Tennis Official of the Year. He was an active member of his children’s youth, coaching baseball for TRLL, softball for TRGSL, and soccer for both TRSA and TRIC.
Dan is survived by his loving wife Beth; and is also survived by their son, Jason; daughter, Melissa Yuka, her husband Justin, and grandchildren Tyler and Mia; parents Peter John and Barbara of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Vicki Peters (Pete) of Manheim, PA; brothers, Thomas (Anna) of East Brunswick, NJ, and John (Robin) of Montpelier, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2021 from 4:00 PM until the Memorial Service at 5:45 PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753.
