

David Michael Green was born on April 17, 1957, in Irvington, NJ. He was the devoted father of Michael David Green and his wife, Melissa, and the proud grandfather of Madison and Bella, who were the light of his life. Being a Dad and “Pop” brought him endless joy, and he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his family.
Known for his gentle kindness, playful humor, and unwavering devotion, Dave welcomed everyone he met with an open heart. His warmth and love left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Over the years, Dave built a career defined by hard work, adaptability, and dedication. He took pride in every job he held — from his early work in construction and masonry to his later roles in medical equipment repair at Clayton Rehab and Schwarz Rehab, and maintenance at Concord Healthcare. Whether working with his hands, helping others, or solving problems, he approached every role with integrity, care, and a genuine heart.
He is survived by his son, Mike, and daughter-in-law, Melissa; his cherished granddaughters, Madison and Bella; his sisters, Pat Genovese (husband Paul) and Lynn DiPaola (husband Steve); his brother, Tom Green (predeceased wife Debbie); and six beloved nieces - Patti, Tara, Heather, Amanda, Lindsay, and Julie - and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Irving and Marie Green. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he brightened.
A celebration of his life will be held on November 22, 2025, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River, NJ, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories celebrating the wonderful person he was. A repast will follow at 4:30 pm at the Clarion Hotel in Toms River, NJ, and all family and friends are warmly welcome to attend.
