

Dennis K. Sledzik, of Toms River, passed into eternal life on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011. Dennis was a well respected business man in Ocean County for many years. He was born in Jersey City, raised in East Brunswick and graduated from East Brunswick High School where as a student he realized his interest in the heating and air conditioning business. He so excelled at it that he was offered a position in his instructor's business upon graduation. From there he continued learning at the Fedders Corp. and was immediately put in a supervisory position at the age of twenty. Soon after he moved to Ocean County he started his own business in 1974, D.K. Sledzik Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. as well as Small Electric, Inc. which is still very successful today. Dennis had a big, wonderful personality with an immense love of life and many varied interests, the most important of which was his family. Over the course of his life, he lived it to the fullest, enjoying camping, traveling, vacationing at his home in the Poconos, vacations with his large family, and his friends. He was always open to new adventures and loved life to the fullest. He was a kind and generous man who was always there for his family, friends and for anyone who needed him, his help or advice.
He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Lucy; father-in-law, Chet Burozski; brother-in-law, Chet Burozski and his dear cousin, Ray Ferrara. Left to grieve are his father, Bernard Sledzik; the love of his life, Doreen Sledzik; his devoted daughters, Lori Sledzik- Bien and her husband Joe, Lynda Sledzik-Browne and her husband Mike, Tiffini Nigro and her husband Frank, Mikayla Guido and his dear son, Ronald Sledzik and his wife Stephanie. He leaves the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Jade and Abby Warner, William and Lia Sagarese, Michael, Aiden, Ava Browne and his newest grandson, RJ Sledzik. He leaves to grieve is mother- in law, Kathleen Burozski, along with his nephew, Adam Burozski. He will be missed by his cousins, Janet Ferrara and Jo Ann Treffi. Dennis leaves many heartbroken family, friends and colleagues. He also leaves the mother of his daughters, Angela Sledzik. Whom ever he was in contact with throughout his life will have a huge void because of his passing.
The viewing will be held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River NJ. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Also a final farewell will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home.
