Born in Jersey City to Marcello Nobile and his wife Anna, Diane grew up in Lyndhurst before moving to Rutherford and then Lanoka Harbor, where she raised her family. She was an active member of Saint Stephen's Church in Waretown and enjoyed sewing and cooking.
She and her husband, Jim, traveled the world during her time as a travel agent, visiting favorite places such as San Francisco, Sanibel and all over Italy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim; her son Daniel Clossey of Forked River; her sister Nancy Sirianni of Marlboro; two brothers, Robert Nobile of Lyndhurst, and Mark Nobile of Cedar Grove, her niece Debra Reed and her husband Michael, two nephews, Michael Sirianni and his wife, Donna, and Vincent Nobile and three great-nephews, Hunter Reed, Chance Reed and Alex Sirianni
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 3, from 2-4 & 7-9PM and Wednesday from 9-10 AM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass will be offered at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Waretown on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor.
