Eileen Joan Bellofatto

Eileen Joan Bellofatto, lovingly known as “Mema,” age 84, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Eileen was devoted to her family and cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother. She valued meaningful connections and built lasting relationships throughout her life. Her family is deeply grateful for the love she shared and the companionship she enjoyed while residing in Little Falls and Toms River, NJ.

She was the beloved wife of Ralph “Pepa” Bellofatto; loving mother of Michael Patrick Masterson and his wife Kathleen, Jeffrey Scott Masterson and his wife Genevieve, and Michele Patricia Wilson and her husband Aaron; and the adoring grandmother of Nicholas, Amanda, Catherine, Hayley, Elizabeth, Jax, Kevin, Seth and Great Grandchild Miles. She is also survived by her loving sister, Deborah Mitchell.

Eileen was born in the Bronx, NY, and shortly thereafter moved to Little Ferry, NJ, where she lived with her sister, her father “Mitch,” and her mother, Kathleen. She later moved from Clifton to Little Falls in 1967, where she raised her family and remained an active member of the community. In 2021, she relocated to Toms River, NJ.

Eileen was a devoted employee of Mountainside Hospital in Montclair for 30 years. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many, leaving behind a lasting legacy of friendship, love, and family.

Mom, continue to “shine on me” and we all “love you bunches”.
