

Eleanor Wallace, 78, of Beachwood, NJ, passed away on March 13, 2015, at Hampton Ridge in Toms River, NJ. She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She lived in North Bergen, NJ, before moving to Beachwood in 1991. Eleanor retired in 2006, after working for thirty years at Pathmark Supermarkets in both North Bergen and Toms River, both as a cashier in the Floral Department and in the Customer Service Department. She later worked as a cashier at Friendly’s Bar & Grill & Liquor Store in Bayville for over ten years.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Rossie Wallace in 2010; her daughter Leeanne Durrah in 2010; and her daughter-in-law Marion Cole in 2009. She is survived by her two sons: Robert Wallace and his fiancé Kim Zyskowski of Beachwood, and Timothy Wallace and his wife Jennifer of Washington State; her daughter Joanne Rarick and her husband William of Cape Coral, Florida; her son-in-law Shawkar Durbah; her grandchildren: Eric, Seth, Tyler, Douglas, Evalette, and James; and her two stepchildren: Edward Wallace of Massachusetts and Betty Loder of Massachusetts. A committal chapel service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, at 9:30 a.m. at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
