Elizabeth I. Ciuba

Elizabeth I. "Bette" Ciuba, 84, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Community Medical Center. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and lived most of her life in Toms River. Elizabeth worked as a Registered Nurse at Community Medical Center for 25 years, retiring in 1999. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Toms River. Elizabeth was a loving, caring person, who enjoyed her family and friends.Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald Andrew Ciuba in 1999 and her brother, Billy Thoden. She is survived by four sons: Craig Ciuba and his wife Jacquelyn of Arlington, VA, Bart Ciuba and his wife Deverell of Castleton, VA, Scott Ciuba of Toms River, NJ, and Todd Ciuba and his wife Kristen of Washington, DC; her daughter June Ciuba Ring and her husband Dan of Chantilly, VA; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Sunday, May 7th, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10AM at St. Joseph Church, 685 Hooper Avenue in Toms River. Burial will be immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cedar Grove Road in Toms River.
