Elizabeth M. Coates, age 93, of Toms River, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Hampton Ridge Care Center, Toms River. Born in Newark, she resided in Newark before moving to Toms River 30 years ago. Elizabeth was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph. Surviving are her children: William Coates of Toms River, Shirley Pastore of Lacey and Dolores Miller of Toms River. She is also survived by eight loving grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River.
