Eric C. Roemer, 47, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on September 9, 2017. He was born in Toms River, NJ, and was a longtime resident of Beachwood, NJ, before deciding to reside in Melbourne, FL. Eric was a proud Navy veteran, serving during Operation Desert Storm as a Combat Medic. He was a weather enthusiast, was very interested in Astrology, and enjoyed doing puzzles. Eric will be dearly missed.
Eric is survived by his parents Bruce Roemer and Helen Stevens Roemer; his longtime companion Darlene Lewis; his three sisters: Kristin Wilson, Eleni Adkins, and Maria Halkiadakis; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Friday, October 13th, from 10AM till noon, with a service at 11:30AM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. Military Honors will follow at 1PM at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Red Cross for recent Hurricane Disaster Relief in Eric’s memory.
