

2023 surrounded by her family. “Flo” was born in Orange, NJ, the oldest child of
James and Mary Turco. She graduated from West Orange High School and lived in
Livingston, Randolph, and East Hanover before moving to Waretown in 2012.
Flo loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed
being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had many hobbies:
cooking, crocheting, crossword/word puzzles, and gardening. She loved the
holiday season and took great pride in hosting holiday celebrations, especially
Christmas Eve dinner. She worked for many years in banking, in the Trust
Department of a major financial institution. She was an animal lover, and had a
special affinity for her beloved dogs. Flo was beautiful, both inside and out. She
exuded grace, style, and elegance. She was Homecoming Queen as well as a whiz
at mathematics.
Flo was predeceased by her parents, James and Mary Turco. She is survived by her
loving husband of almost 49 years Martin Mazza, daughters and sons-in-laws
Donna and Douglas Jenkins, Lori and Michael DelVirginia, Jodi and James
Mindnich, and Jamie and John DePirri, her stepsons and their spouses Martin and
Carmela Mazza and Joseph and Lorna Mazza, and her brother Nicholas Turco. Flo
is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves
behind many beloved family members and friends.
There will be a memorial mass to celebrate Flo’s life at St. Mary’s Parish in
Barnegat, NJ on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation
(https://themmrf.org/). May she rest in eternal peace.
