Frances Cameron, age 72, of South Toms River, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer with her family and friends by her side. Uniquely, she passed away on the same day of the month as her late husband, Patrick.
She worked as a data entry supervisor. She loved her pets, the sun, the beach, dolphins, Hawaii, reading and spending time poolside surrounded by family and friends. Franny, as she was known, was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend to many, but she was so much more to all. Her caring nature was complemented by her great sense of humor that she shared with everyone and her tenacity in the face of adversity.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Michele (Cameron) and Thomas Konopka and Daniele (Cameron) and Rob Venezia, and two loving grandchildren, Patrick and Gia. Beloved by Cookie and Frank, Bob and Kathleen, Louise and Brother, Rick and Eileen and seven nieces and nephews and their spouses and children. She also leaves behind devoted friends, Irene and Donald Donatiello, Mary Beth Ullery and Karen Joyner and her children.
She is pre-deceased by her amazing husband Patrick, and her mother and step father, Georgette and Edmund Van de Velde.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. Cremation is private.
