Gertrude “Trudy” Baumann, age 100, of Toms River, passed away at Hampton Ridge Rehabilitation on April 24, 2024. Born in Maplewood, NJ, she lived in Springfield, NJ and Cedar Glen Homes in Toms River prior to Hampton.
Trudy in her youth was an avid roller skater and placed in competitions. She loved to have parties, sing, dance, and be with her family. She was very close to her sisters and nicknamed “The Dolly Sisters”. She loved her champagne and enjoyed her cocktail up into her 90’s.
She is predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Brady and Grace Glassen; and nephew, Robert Kaiser.
She is survived by her daughter, Cyndee Baumann and son-in-law, Charles Ortiz; son, William Baumann and daughter-in-law, Lora Baumann; niece, Carole Kaiser; and extended Kaiser family.
