

Gregory Carracino, Greg, age 67, resident of Toms River, New Jersey died on Friday, July 21, 2023. Greg was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 8, 1955, and spent most of his life living in Toms River, New Jersey. He attended Toms River schools and graduated from Ocean County College.
Greg was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Ruth Carracino. Greg is survived by his spouse Sheryl Cramer Carracino, son Matthew Carracino and daughter-in-law Sierra Turner, daughter Courtney Ricciuti Iafalice and son-in-law Michael Iafalice, grandchildren Scarlett Rose Carracino and Ava, Olivia and Chase Iafalice, siblings Cynthia and Bill Farrell and Douglas Carracino, nieces and nephews Lauren and Sean Bell, Lucas and Tyler Farrell, Carson, Chase, and Cruz Bell.
Greg was a skilled and talented craftsman and a member of the Carpenter’s Union. He was an avid biker, which included an endurance ride from New Jersey to the Florida Keys and a recreational ride from New Jersey to California. He enjoyed and was inspired by photography and making movies for his grandchildren to enjoy. Greg was a devoted NY Giants fan, never missing a game or a chance to chat about highlights. He was kind, quiet, patient, and unassuming – he found happiness is the everyday, inspiring all to achieve what you set out to do, no matter what age.
The last four years of Greg’s life were a battle. He was a quiet warrior, that fought to live life for his family. His family of angels cared for him unconditional until the end. His infectious smile will be missed forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Island Heights United Methodist Church, 111 Ocean Avenue, Island Hts., NJ on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
