Harriet M. Wegeman

Harriet M. Wegeman, 73, of Whiting, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at home. Born in Pt. Pleasant, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Beachwood before moving to Whiting in 2018. Harriet was a retired cosmetologist. Harriet was a faithful and active member of Ocean County Baptist Church in Toms River. She loved spending time with the Lord, praying for others, posting and sharing the gospel. Her life and testimony reflected her love for God. She looked forward to her weekly ladies bible study, spending time with her family, beautiful neighbors, friends, church members and her sweet beloved dog, Gi Gi. Everyone loved Harriet very much, and she will be sadly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Julia Patterson, her husband Jerry L. Wegeman Sr. and her son Jerry L. Wegeman Jr. Surviving are her children Dawn Wegeman, Michael Wegeman and Laura Jodice and her husband Greg; her sister Ann Milton and her husband Jim and her brother Thomas Patterson; her cherished 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and many caring nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Ocean County Baptist Church, 1380 Old Freehold Road, Toms River NJ 08753. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harriet’s memory to Ocean County Baptist Church.
