Born in Paterson, NJ, she lived in Riverdale & Toms River, before moving to Allendale in March of 2020.
Helen was a devout Catholic and spent her final years as an active senior in the retirement community where she resided.
She is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Silvio Gambutti; her sisters, Edith, Flo, Yolanda; and her brothers, Tony, Carlo, and Jerry.
Helen is survived by her sons, Phillip Gambutti and his wife, Mary Ellen, Steven Gambutti and his wife, Donna, Paul Gambutti and his husband, Ross. Helen also had two grandsons, Steven, Adam and his wife, Kristie; two beautiful great grandchildren Henry and Isabel; and several nieces and nephews.
Helen will be Interred in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery alongside her husband.
In lieu of a formal service, a mass will be said in Helen’s honor. We invite you to leave condolences and memories. She will be with us all in spirit. There will be no public services held.
