Born in Cape May, he lived in Asbury Park for many years, and later in Port Norris before settling in Manchester.
Mr. Green was a US Army Veteran of World War II, where he served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater as a Radio repairman.
He later worked for the Department of Defense at Fort Monmouth for over 30 years.
He is survived by his son, Eugene H. Green of Neptune; his sister, Jane Barnes of Somerdale; his brother, Joseph O.
Price and his wife Carolyn of Louisburg, NC; his nephew, Amos Barnes, III of Virginia; his niece Cherryl Baker and her husband, and Gerald of Manchester; and his special nieces Temika Meyers and Karen Jordan and a host of many other relatives.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 12-1pm to 1pm service at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
Burial will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
