With the rapid approach of a forty-fifth year since the high school graduation of Howard, it is apparently still tough for many of his classmates involved in organizing reunions to comprehend that Howard is no longer among us.  May those who were blessed to know Howard take pleasure at celebrating the annual marking of his birthday.

You are in our prayers. He was a wonderful person.

Irma, Al, Ellen, Robin and family- you are in my thoughts & prayers! Howie  must have been a very strong person who has left all of you a special legacy of love & precious memories

To the family of Howard Prager: My deepest condolences.  I only just heard about this today, I would like to have been there.  Howie was someone, I can honestly say, that I remember from elementary school.  He was someone that I looked up to then, and all through school.  
I was proud to call him a friend.
Even though I moved away many years ago, I always liked to keep tabs on classmates, so I'm really sorry I somehow missed this.

Having just returned to NC from Howie's funeral, I wanted to say again that my thoughts are with the entire family. I know how much you all loved Howie - and how proud you were of him.  My sister, bother-in-law and I were so touched by the testimonials and the show of love, but more than anything - we were honored to be there in support of Irma and Al who have been like family to us for the past 50+ years.  Irma - you know my mother was like your sister - so know that she will be with Howie and together they will watch over you.

As a friend and neighbor of Al and Irma Prager in Florida, I never met Howard, but feel as though I knew him well. Simple words can not describe the glow that lights up Al's face when he speaks of all his kids.His pride and his love radiates. So sorry for your loss. Service was beautiful and I'm sure could have gone on for days speaking of all the good he has done and the huge heart he had. He will be forever in ours.

I was privileged to attend the very poignant service at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home a few minutes ago which memorialized Howard.  Deepest sympathies to the Prager Family and all those who were fortunate enough to be included within the integral part of the fulfilling "dash" between date of birth and date of death that represents the time that Howard spent on earth.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
