James “Jimmy” Castaldo, 69, of Berkely Township, Toms River passed away at home on July 30, 2024. James was born in Neptune, New Jersey on July 30, 1955 and was raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey before moving to Toms River. He served his country in the United States Army. Family was everything to Jimmy. He will be greatly missed and will always hold a special place in everyone’s hearts.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Carmella (nee Renda) Castaldo, his son, Vito Castaldo and his brother, Carmine Castaldo. He is survived by his partner in life Georgeann Amelio, his daughter Jamie Castaldo, two granddaughters, Mia and Leilani; two brothers, Jerry (Susan) and Andrew (Barbara) and three sisters, Christina (Bartlet) Goble; Marie Costanzo and Camille (Michael) DeSantis, along with an abundance of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no viewing and cremation was private.
