

James "Frank" Dolison was born 68 years ago in Pompano Beach, Florida. He passed from this life peacefully, at home in the presence of his loving family on August 14, 2013. He was the son of Henry and Lottie Dolison who has predeceased him. He is also predeceased by two brothers Alphonso and M.C. He is survived by a sister, Dollie Jones of Manchester, NJ, a brother L.D. Chestnut, an aunt Elouise Ruise, both of Sanderson, Florida and a host of nieces and nephews. James worked for Ciba Geigy Chemical Plant as an operator for 25 years and Exxon Mobile for another 18 years under the same title. He continued to support and attend the meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses for the last 37 years of his life. In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball, swimming and fishing. He was also affectionately known as "Smiley" to close friends and relatives and "Pop" to his grandchildren.
He came to Ocean City, NJ in 1963 and in 1968; James married his love for life Crystal Watts. They remained happily married for 45 years until his passing. James and Crystal shared three loving children Yvonne P. Davis and James E. Dolison of South Toms River, NJ, Alissa M. Tossie and Son-in-law Demetrius of Glassboro, NJ. "Pop" was a loving and passionate family man who adored his six grandchildren Ashley, Marquis, Destiny, Tajier, Jayden, and Demier. James was especially close to his in-laws, whom he considered his brothers and sisters. He was dearly loved by friends and family. He will be missed by all.
Memorial services will be held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ on August 17, 2013, at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest directly after the service at Riverside Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
