Jane A. Chesna

Jane Ann Chesna, beloved Mother and loving Grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2012. Born in Philadelphia to Robert and Georgianna Perry, she was the eighth of nine children. She lived in Toms River for many years & then moved to Sea Isle City, N.J.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, Albert Chesna and daughter, JoAnne Chesna Gorrick. She leaves behind her daughter Debbie and son-in-law, Bill Dougherty; daughter, Regina Chesna-Baena; son Albert and his wife, Heather. Also surviving is her youngest sister Joan Clark. Grandmom Chesna cherished her grandchildren, Bill, Melissa, Aubrey, Alyssa, Ashlyn and great grandson, Bryce. Being with her family was her passion throughout her entire life. Jane leaves a legacy of love, commitment and support to her own children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 noon at St. Joseph's Church in Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Jane's memory.
