Janet M. Keenan

Janet M. Keenan, 82, of Toms River, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 10, 2025. She was born in Bronx, NY and resided in Jersey City, NJ, moving to Toms River in 1978. Janet graduated from Cathedral High School in New York City. She was employed by H&R Block as a tax preparer for over 25 years. Janet loved to travel and take trips to Atlantic City. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Beatrice Fleming and her sister Eileen Miles. Surviving is her beloved husband of 58 years Joseph; her four sons Joseph (Melissa), Keith (Silvia), Brian (Tara) and Darren (Sandra); her cherished grandchildren Megan, Ashley, Patrick, Tyler, Briana, Brian Jr., Maria and Darren Jr.; and her siblings Frank Fleming (Denise) and Diane Cunha (Joseph).

Visitation will be held on June 20, 2025, Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 9:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
