Joann B Clarke

She was 72 years old.

Born in Jersey City, she and her husband Jack lived many years in Beachwood, before retiring to Toms River.

She was a communicant of St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville for many years.

Mrs. Clarke was also a volunteer at Community Medical Center, Toms River for the past 17 years, and a member of the Holiday City South Bocce Ball Club.

Prior to her retirement in1997, she was a budget officer for Lakehurst Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst, NJ for 28years.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 53 years, Jack Clarke, their son Jack Clarke and his wife Diane and their daughter Colleen Adams and her husband Bill; five grandchildren, Paige, Jack, Caitlin, Nicole and Brooke; and a brother Edward Callaghan.

Visitation will be at HORIZON FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

A mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 3at St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville at 9:30 AM.

Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Joann's memory to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Plaza, Memphis, TN
