Sincere condolences to Mary Ellen, Aaron and John John. Some good memories of Point Pleasant back in the day.

Maryellen When I was a kid pops use to take me to the car lot we would work on different cars getting them ready to sell. We would take a break and head over to the pet shop on route 46, back than they sold monkeys. This one monkey got a hold of my pig tail and the monkey started to pull my head into the cage he would not let go pops started to give him and Indian burn , the pet shop owner told pops if you hurt his arm you pay for the monkey pops used quick thinking. As my headed was getting jamed up against the cage with me screaming pops started feeding him candy . We all became friends and we visited him on are work breaks. Pops loved kids pets and monkeys

I met Mr. Millman when I was very young. I went to school with Mare. I remember coming back to the Millman's house after school & Mr. Millman was there & he asked me what was the sad face for so I told him that some kids were making me feel like I was nothing, by the time I left there I had a smile on my face a & never forgot the good advise he gave me. Mr. Millman was a good man and he will be missed. Mare, John, & Aaron I am so very sorry for your loss. May God watch over all of you and may Mr. Millman Rest In Peace. Thank you for touching my life.

Pop-pop was a great wise elder and still is, just not in the physical world, and has taught me many things about being thrifty and being grateful and happy with what you have. I remember the time he babysat me because my parents and relatives were going to a friend, Ray cruitts wedding. We watched an NFL football game and went out to mc donalds and it doesnt seem like anything much but was a great time for just being with him. He got a bigmac and i got a cheese burger but that doesnt really matter. And on a final note, when i was little he always heard me say to my dad when id see him working, HELP! HELP! HELP!HELP! really quickly and pops took a liking to that and would always say it. I will miss Pop pop and will always remember him. love, Ashton

My most vivid memories of uncle Johnny were on Cleveland Street in Orange. You could always find him out front fixing up car. He had a great smile and a catagious laugh! Picinics at Grandpa and grandmas house were filled with love and laughter! Aunt Patti and Uncle Johnny were always laughing and having fun. I wouldn't trade those memories of them both for all the tea in China! I'm sure they are together again raising hell. Until we meet again Uncle Johnny, give everyone a hug for me.

I always enjoyed hanging out with Poppa Millman, I'm so glad that Maryellen brought poppa Millman to my house that summer eve, we sat by the pond and joked around. He was way loved and cared for by his family and I think he knew how lucky he was to have them by his side. See you Tue, love to all

Uncle John taught me one hot summer afternoon about hard work. It was a landscaping job. I wanted to go along with him and my brother Mickey. I wasn't exactly a willing participant in the work. I was only about 11 or 12, maybe younger. At the end of he day I asked Uncle John how much pay I was getting. He said, you get what you earned $0.00. He was right. I never messed with him again. Thanks, Uncle John. You'll be missed. Keep smiling.
