

He graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan High School West in 1962.
He was an accomplished musician with a career in music spanning over 68 years.
Besides playing in various bands, in clubs and restaurants, John was a church organist, and a private music teacher of 80 students a week.
He was also in sales and advertising for many years.
John was a welder working in the family business and enjoyed building open cockpit race cars.
He enjoyed playing pool in a league, and riding motorcycles and photography.
John also enjoyed shooting guns and was an avid marksman who enjoyed skeet, trap, target shooting and was a proud member of the NRA. John was also the inventor of the Trail-or-Boat and Q-Kaddy.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Irene Ogonowski of Toms River, NJ, a son, John Michael Ogonowski and his fiancé, Linda Galdieri, daughter, Jessica Dalrymple and her husband, Stephen Dalrymple and 5 grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Ryley, George and Eva, two sisters, Barbara Savage and Debra Baars as well as nieces and nephews.
Liked by many, wherever John went, he always made a friend.
He will truly be missed by all.
