Joyce Ann Moran

Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband, John J. Moran III, in 2008, and her son, T.J. Moran, in 2006. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sharin Moran of North Carolina, and her cherished grandchildren, Oliver Moran, Iona Moran, Martha George, and Thomas George of Cornwall, England. She also leaves behind many dear friends and members of her chosen family who will miss her deeply.

In addition to her devoted roles as a mother and grandmother, Joyce had a long and meaningful career as a health and physical education teacher. She retired from the Berkeley County school system in 2005. Joyce was also a dedicated volunteer at Community Medical Center, where she delivered medications from the pharmacy and brought comfort to patients alongside her therapy dogs—first Maggie Mae, and later Fred.

Joyce lived a full and beautiful life, marked by kindness, service, and love. She will be remembered always and missed by all who knew her. We ask that each time you see a dragonfly, you think of Joyce with a smile.

The family will hold an additional celebration summer of 2026.

Visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, US, on March 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
