

Julia is survived by her children Victoria (Ed), Tony, Scott (Kim), Julie (Jim)and Carl Christoferson as well as her cherished eight grandchildren, Shannon, EJ, Jimmy, Brendan, Maximillian, Gigi, Logan and Autumn, each bringing great joy to her life, as well as two great grandchildren, Daniel and James. She is also survived by her sister Lucy Bottomley and several nieces and nephews.
Julia was predeceased by her mother Charlotte and her father Joseph Scholes as well as her husband Walter Sovinski, her brother Joseph Scholes and her grandson Joseph Weiss.
Julia was a loving homemaker prior to a later in life role in the banking industry. She also enjoyed knitting, needlepoint crocheting and being an avid follower of Dr. Phil and Judge Judy!
Julia spent the twilight of her years living very happily in the compassionate care of the Spring Oak Assisted Living community in Forked River, NJ. Julia will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her adoring family.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on December 1, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, located at 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, United States.
Following the gathering, a Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home, starting at 11:30 am.
Repass luncheon to follow at 12:30PM.
