Kenneth J. Blair, Sr.

Kenneth J. Blair Sr.  age 74, of Toms River passed away on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick. He was born in Jersey City, and grew up in Waretown, NJ before moving to Toms River where he resided.

As a child Kenneth enjoyed clamming, and running around with his siblings at the Lakes in Lacey Twp.  And enjoyed Camping with his family and trips to the boardwalk, and Great Adventure.

Kenneth worked as a professional Floor Waxer, and then worked as a Manager for MGM Car Wash, in Pomona, NJ. He also worked as a Mechanic for Academy Bus Company before retiring.  

He Loved his Family and always being with them whether it was watching movies, going out to dinner, to his favorite place Olive Garden. Or any family event he just loved being with everyone. He also loved to watch Sunday football with his sons. And we will never forget he always loved to take pictures with his Polaroid camera.

He is predeceased by his parents Thomas Blair and Clara Blair, and his brother Albert Blair. His First Wife and the mother of his three Children Maria Angela Curcie.

Kenneth is survived by his life partner Marilyn Blair. Three Sons and daughter-In Laws. Kenneth J. Blair Jr, his wife Melanie Blair, Jeffrey S. Blair and his wife Jana Blair, Thomas C. Blair and his wife Jennifer Blair.  Nine grandchildren who he adored, and they called him “Ompa” - Brianna Blair, Courtney Blair, Jeffrey Blair, Ashley Blair, Amanda Pintler, Jordan Papol, Christian Papol, Elena Tominus, Katie Demray.

Kenneth is survived by his siblings. Donald Blair and his wife Pam Blair, his sister Kathleen Smith and her husband Charlie Smith. Philip Blair and his wife Joan Blair(predeceased)

Nieces, and Nephews, Mark and Daren Blair, Dorleen Walker and husband Patrick Walker, Liz Molisso, David Smith, Melissa Blair, Jason Blair and his wife Lauren Blair, Joshua Blair and his wife Nikkia Blair, and Ethan Blair. And his many Great Nieces and Great Nephews that he all loved dearly.

A Celebration of Kenneth’s life will be at a future date and time to be determined.

Cremation was entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services.
