Born in Florida, she grew up in Staten Island and lived in Lakewood prior to moving to Toms River in 2001.
Laura was a Job Coach for the Children's Center of Monmouth County, Neptune, for over 25 years, and was a member of the Brick Elks Lodge.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew and his wife Erin, and Ryan; her grandson Johnathan; her mother, Margaret Schwartz of Staten Island; her siblings, Jean Doyle of Stratford, NY, William Schwartz of Dayton, Christine Dudzinski of Hackettstown, and Lisa McCassin of Goffstown, NH.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Services will be held on Saturday at 11am at the funeral home.
Cremation will be private.
