Leah Rae Halliday, 78, of Manahawkin, NJ, formerly of Toms River, passed away on September 8, 2016, at Manahawkin Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Paterson, NJ, and lived in Pompton Lakes before moving to Toms River in 1969. She was a Branch Manager at First National Bank in Toms River for many years. Leah was a caring, fun loving, hardworking person who loved her family immensely. She will be dearly missed.
Leah was predeceased by her husband Allen “Buzz” Halliday in 1999. She is survived by her two sons: Allen Halliday and his wife Kathleen of Stafford Township, and John Halliday and his wife Debra of Lanoka Harbor; her three daughters: Susan Di Micco and her husband Donald of Lanoka Harbor, Roxanne Fox and her fiancé Craig Simpson of Lanoka Harbor, and Maureen Halliday of Stafford Township; and her nine loving grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, September 15th, from 4 to 8PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Cremation was private.
