Lisa M. Tomassetti

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Rt. 37 W, Toms River, NJ 08755.

"Last night we lost my beautiful and amazing mother and best friend. She had the most nurturing spirit, she was the perfect mother. She was always caring, very independent and always put her family first. I wouldn't want to have another mom. She was strong and pushed through everything and even on her worse days she would still try to cook and clean and take care of her family. I used the last 4 months learning how to cook like her even though I should have learned sooner. She never asked for much but she loved her crossword scratch offs and would drive us crazy for us to do her scratch off runs. It's going to be stuck in my head forever. "Scrachies!" she would call it. She also loved Pizza and her nickname is Pizza Lisa. She recorded shows and movies especially Lifetime movies and we would all watch them together. She probably watched every Lifetime movie. She will be very missed and I can't imagine living without her but I have to be strong. She suffered long and I have to accept it. She said when she dies be happy that she's no longer suffering. I will take good care of Anthony like you did with us. He might not remember you and your bond but I will make sure he knows.
