Lois Weiss

Lois Weiss, 79, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on April 25, 2024. She was born in the Bronx, New York, to the late Leo and Helen Silverman (Liggio).  Lois was raised in the Bronx, NY, before moving to Howell, NJ where she raised her family.  

Lois had an unconditional love for her family, especially her three grandchildren. She was a social butterfly who enjoyed dancing, long summer days at the pool and hosting her friends for game nights.  She was an avid reader and loved to go shopping. Her home was always beautifully decorated and she loved going all out for the holidays. 

Lois was a strong woman and was fortunate to live a very full life.  

Surviving are two loving children, Lisa Weiss-Walters, Heath Weiss and his wife Marianne; Three adored grandchildren Luke, Sarah and Rebecca; her dear sister, Susan Zapf and her husband Bob.  Also surviving extended family includes Harvey Weiss, Linda, and Richard Dry, and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Services will be Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Park & Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652
