

Mary Grogan Walsh, of Toms River died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Shorrock Gardens Care Center, Brick, NJ. Born in Ireland, she came to the United States in 1950. She resided most of her life in Brooklyn, NY, before coming to Toms River in 1978. Mary was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Toms River and a member of the church's prayer group called the Flame of Love. She was a former member of the Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Brooklyn, NY.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Martin in 1996; her daughter, Mary P. Walsh in 2011; a brother, Michael Grogan and her sister, Bridget Reynolds. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Walsh of Middletown, Martin Walsh of Bethpage, NY and John Walsh of New Hyde Park, NY. She is also survived by eleven loving grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Visiting will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Mary's life will be held Friday, 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 685 Hooper Ave. Toms River. Interment will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Toms River.
