Born in Jersey City, she lived in the Brick and Lakewood area for many years prior to settling in Leisure Village 17 years ago.
Mrs. McKiever was an accountant, and was employed by Mister Cookie Face for many years.
She is survived by her husband, John McKiever; her father, Leo Culloo of Tinton Falls; her children, Barry Stein of Estes Park, CO and Micahel Stein of Brick; a granddaughter, Ania Stein; two brothers, Leo Culloo of Washington State and Mike Culloo of Brick; two sisters, Kathy MacFarland of Wanamassa and Ann Culloo of Wall; and her caregiver and nephew, Jason MacFarland.
Cremation was entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Uriel's Church, Sea Girt, at 11:30am on Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
