Michael E. Zarzycki

He was 66 years old.

Born in Rahway, he lived most of his life in Woodbridge, before retiring to Toms River 4 years ago.

Michael was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam Conflict.

He began his career with Bell Atlantic/Verizon in Woodbridge in 1967 as a power apparatus technician and retired as a Supervisor in 2000.

Michael was also on the Bell Atlantic Baseball team in Elizabeth. He was a Cub Master for Pack 34 in Woodbridge, which was affiliated with Trinity Episcopal Church, also in Woodbridge, and an Associate Member of the Woodbridge First Aid Squad

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Susan L. Reiman; their children, Robert and his wife Robin, Michael, Jr., Kimberly Murphy and her husband Kevin, and Thomas Holder and his wife Mary; 12 grandchildren, Michael, III, Jessica, Zachary, Tyler, William, Olivia, Kaylee, Sydney, Thomas, Jack, Patrick and Hailee; 3 brothers, and 1 sister and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will follow, time and location to be determined.
