Mollie Doll Britton

Mollie Doll Britton, 63, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on October 31, 2022 at Ocean Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood peacefully with her children by her side. Born in Pt. Pleasant, NJ, she resided in Brick for many years before moving to Toms River 2 years ago. Mollie was very devoted to her profession as a CNA for 37 years. She enjoyed Atlantic City, dancing, reading and doting on her grandchildren. Mollie was a devoted mother, supporter and best friend to her four children. They were her shining light and she was theirs. Mollie lived for all the moments, laughs and most enjoyable time spent with her precious grandchildren, family and friends. She lived her life her way, in bright vivid colors and would be there to support those she loved so deeply. She was the brightest light for those who loved her and that light will shine forever through her children, precious grandchildren and those she loved best. She planted a seed and grew a beautiful garden that she now leaves to her family to tend to. Mollie will be missed dearly.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Evelyn Morton; her sister Shirley, brother Skip; and her ex-husband Robert A. Britton, whom she loved dearly.

Surviving are her children Crystal Britton and partner Brian Fraser, Robert A. Britton Jr., Ricky Britton and Michael Britton; sisters Florence Kosich, Elizabeth Roman and Barbara Bunnell; her grandchildren Julianna, Wesley, Logan, Paige, Naomi and Nathan; and many caring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 5pm to 9pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ.
