

She was born on October 6, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA into a family of musicians.
Like her family, Nadia spent her life touching people through the gift of music.
From the age of three, she was discovered to be a whirlwind talent; a true child prodigy who
contributed to life with wondrous musicianship as a concert violinist.
Her passion extended beyond music to her devotion of Nature, the environment and humanitarian work.
With these gifts, Nadia enriched the lives of all she encountered.

Her career as a Musician began as soloist, with the Philadelphia Orchestra, at age ten.
Nadia succeeded in touring as a recital and concert soloist throughout The USA, Europe & Canada.
As first violinist, Nadia accompanied the Bolshoi, Pennsylvania Ballet,
and Moiseyev dance companies as a member of The American Federation of Musicians. In addition she was concertmaster for The Garden State Philharmonic; 21 years, The Philly Pops of Philadelphia and Plays in the Park of Middlesex County, with the Central N.J. Musicians Union, which she enjoyed immensely.
Nadia will be remembered as a selfless, pure-spirited friend, revered Violin Teacher, mentor,
gardener and great Mom. She inspired many devoted pupils to whom she bestowed life-lessons and enjoyment.
She is survived by her children David, Elizabeth and Timothy (Olney) whom she raised
alone, thrust into being a single mother in Princeton, NJ.
Also surviving her are beloved nieces and nephew, Myra, Tanya and George, her Sister-in-law Nancy (Koutzen)
