Born and raised in Jersey City, Nancy lived in Little Falls, New Jersey before moving to Manchester, New Jersey in 2005.
She was a member of Little Falls Chapter and Gloria Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was past Mother Advisor of Mistletoe Assembly #20, International Order of Rainbow for Girls and a holder of the Grand Cross of Color.
In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, playing dominos and sitting by the pool chatting with friends.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Robert Ostrander and their loving dog, Shadow; her parents, Myron and Edith Peet; and her brother, Richard Peet.
Surviving are her stepdaughters, Charlene Wright and her husband, Jim, Donna Cole and her husband, Greg, Karen Farragher, and her husband Bill; her grandchildren, Tiffany Cole (Vinny), Brian Cole (Ren), Michele Beers (George) and Renee Wright (DJ); Great grandson, George Beers IV; many friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm, Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. Cremation will be private.
