

From the late 50’s until 1972, Nick designed, built and drove stock cars on the tracks on Long Island and in New Jersey. In 2004, he was introduced to micro stock racecars and enjoyed a second pursuit of winning races and track championships.
Nick was the founding partner with Tim Shea of C&S Contractors, a successful commercial plumbing company where he worked for many years before turning over his reins to his wife in 2021.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Helen Cottone, sister Louise Pellegrino and sister and brother in law Julianne and Robert Riggio. Nick is survived by wife Judith; children Donna (Barry) Biederman, Joseph (Kristine) Cottone, Luisa Cottone and Elena (Manuel) Montano; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his sister Maria (Freddy) Nardone; and many caring cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14 and Thursday, December 15 from 4 to 8 PM at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 16 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 685 Hooper Ave, Toms River. Cremation will be private.
